Prime Minister to visit Karnataka on January 2 & 3

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to pay a two-day official visit to the State on January 2 and 3.
According to the first information reaching the State Head Quarters here on Monday, the Prime Minister – immediately on arrival at Mysuru in the evening on January 2 – proceeds to Sri Avadhoota Datta Peetam of Sri Ganapati Sacchidananda Swamiji to inaugurate a new hospital, there. Then, Prime Minister will reach Maharaja College Grounds to participate at the Centenary Celebrations of Jagadguru Late Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji of Sri Suttur Math. On January 3, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 103rd Session of the Indian Science Congress at the University of Mysore.
 The Prime Minister will leave for Nittur in Gubbi Taluk in the afternoon to lay the foundation stone for a New Helicopter Manufacturing Unit of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. He will proceed to Jigani in Anekal Taluk to attend the inaugural ceremony of the 21st International Conference on Frontiers in Yoga Research and it’s applications, organized by the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, before reaching New Delhi, the same day.
